PEARL VALLEY GOLF ESTATE FOR SA OPEN

Pearl Valley Golf Estate in Franschhoek is internationally renowned, arguably due to the Jack Nicklaus signature 18 hole golf course. The estate is not only surrounded by the most magnificent natural beauty but also some of the most sought-after residential property. The South African Open was hosted on the estate attracting some of the world’s top players like Ernie Els, Tim Clark, Trevor Immelman, Darren Clarke, Retief Goosen, Lee Westwood, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson and James Kingston. We were approached to provide a design for the hospitality marquee with definitive areas for entertainment, retail and property sales. The styling remained in accordance with the establishment’s brand identity and wooden flooring ensured an orderly flow into the separate areas. Guests could be entertained in an informal manner within the lounge areas. Shirts, peaks and shoes were merchandised in the retail area and the customer counter included a pay point. A swanky model of the estate was placed in the sales area with seating for consultation with prospective buyers. A design feature included a lightbox application of the Pearl Valley logo mounted to the ceiling above the model. The estate has been voted the no 1 golf estate in South Africa.
