CENTURY CITY CONFERENCE CENTRE AND HOTEL HARD HAT EVENT

XZIBIT created a modern, construction themed environment for Century City Conference Centre and Hotel’s Hard Hat Event.

Guests were welcomed by Ryan O’ Connor of KFM before adorning hard hats and safety bibs in preparation for an exciting construction site visit. 150 guests were provided with a personalized tour of Rabie property’s 1.5 billion rand development under construction by Murray and Roberts at Century City, Cape Town.

The tour included venue orientation and presentations by Glyn Taylor and Gary Koetser (Joint CEO’s - Century City Conference Centre and Hotel) followed by a surprise Parkour performance. The unique dancers, at first posing as construction site workers, performed daring acrobatic and street dance movements off scaffolding within the foyer area of the venue.

We designed the experiential marketing event with a fun play on the construction feel. Raw elements including a pallet bar and furniture, wheel barrows filled with ice and beverages and delicious food complimented the concept. A highlight of the evening was entertainment by the Delft Band, conducted by Ian Smith– an NGO providing upliftment to vunerable youths in Cape Town through music.

Prominent industry leaders attended the event including Amanda Kotze-Nhlapo (Chief Convention Bureau Officer – SA Convention Bureau), Adriaan Liebetrau (CEO - SAACI) and Julie-May Ellingson (CEO - CTICC) amongst others.
